Welcome to the 1st Virtual Training Workshop on Bioinformatics

This first virtual training workshop on Bioinformatics is being organized by Asian Bioinformatics Research and Education Network (ABREN), a non-profit organization to promote research and education in this rapidly growing interdisciplinary field of science. This is an online training workshop with video and training material being provided on demand. Thus the participants can go through the workshop lectures at their pace and convenience. This workshop is now open for online access and participation. Registered users can access to the workshop sites and view multimedia lectures, ask teachers questions and get answers any time during the period of workshop (until June 8th, 2006). The registration to the workshop has been closed on April 30, 2006. We are happy to announce that more than 560 users have requested registration from 30 countries (in just one month notification) and we proudly accepted all of them for participation.

For those, who missed the opportunity to register, we hope they will be with us next time, and for those who are with us, we wish a happy learning experience during next few weeks of workshop. Your comments and suggestions are most welcome.
